Uses earthquake-like records to drive the shaker, and users can choose which earthquake to simulate. Please note that the earthquake-like records available for experiment are scaled and shortened due to limitations of the shaker and might not produce the same response on the test structure as a real earthquake would.
Webshaker comparison to SDOF: First runs a Webshaker experiment with a user specified sinusoidal or earthquake-like signal. Then runs a Single Degree of Freedom (SDOF) numerical simulation using parameters from the Webshaker experiment. Users can compare the results of the Webshaker experiment with the numerical model of the SDOF computer experiment.
Webshaker comparison to 2DOF: First runs a Webshaker experiment with a user specified sinusoidal or earthquake-like signal. Then runs a Two Degree of Freedom (2DOF) numerical simulation using parameters from the Webshaker experiment. Users can compare the results of the Webshaker experiment with the numerical model of the 2DOF computer experiment.
