WEBSHAKER ASSESSMENT

Professor Elgamal is conducting a research study to find out more about the effectiveness of the interactive Internet experiment, Webshaker. You have been asked to take part because you are enrolled in a course using this website. The purpose of this study is to assess the educational value of the website.

If you agree to be in this study, the following will take place:

A short two-part survey will be completed by you and saved until it is reviewed by the maintainers of the site.

There may or may not be any direct benefit to you from these procedures. The investigator, however, may learn more about what you think of Webshaker.

Participation in this research effort is entirely voluntary. You may refuse to participate or withdraw at any time.

Research records will be kept confidential to the extent provided by law. You may keep this copy of the consent document.

If you agree to participate, please complete and submit the first part of the two-part survey at this time and submit the second part when you have completed your experiments.
